noisy three-piece facet from oakland, california are one of my favorite bands i've discovered recently. it was an embarrassment of riches, but I got to see them live at caterwaul 2023, then less than a week later again at my home club in denton, tx.
facet is a must-see for any noise rock fans, but they're not so caustic as to turnoff indie rock aficionados. there are grooves there, and don't be surprised if you find yourself pulsating to their jagged riffs, dope bass grooves and impeccable drumming.
your best bet to catch them live in north texas is likely at rubber gloves —they've played here twice since this posting — or possibly at contemporary punk venue andy's, on denton's storied downtown square.
By why wait around? just pick up some of their tunes now on bandcamp, and get to listening, brother.
